Capturing the wedding of a past client is always bittersweet, but it's something a bit extra when it's a former High School senior.  I have worked with Emily a couple of times as the years have gone on and it has been wonderful to see her world unfold.

This weekend it was an honor to stand in a church full of love as Emily and Chris embraced their combined past, present, and future in a stunning Greek ceremony.  This was an opportunity for me to photograph a wedding right in my hometown, which as many of you know rarely happens.

Emily and Chris created a day that truly stood by the lyrics of their first dance song, "From the Group Up" by Dan and Shay.  They were surrounded by family and close friends from all eras of their lives.

Keeping to their roots Emily and Chris kept many things local including their florals from Edinboro Flower Shop (my own prom corsage was lovingly purchased here!). They also selected a beautiful cake from Stella's Bakery which is one of my mom's favorites and she had my own wedding reception cupcakes crafted there.
