If any relationship was purely built to last the joys of wedding planning multiple times due to Covid...it's Allie and Pauls. They have pulled off two spectacular days just about a year apart with huge smiles and hearts full of gratitude. I could not have been happier to have been a part of both of their big days.
Day one...2020 was a lovely church ceremony followed by an intimate photo session in the Boston Commons. During this session, Paul learned all of the ins and outs of helping Allie with her stunning gown (which she surprised him by wearing on BOTH days). These two are pros at working together. Day two in Plymouth MA boasted a larger guest list complete with of course a dance floor and so much love.
Allie and Paul met as he was visiting friends he met while studying abroad in college. He was not local at the time so the opportunity to later work in Boston and move here was certainly fate. Paul proposed to Allie on Mount Kersarge in New Hampshire. Their wedding planning journey began there and continued into the beautiful days they were able to share with family and friends.
Last week's ceremony was led by Allie's dad who of course had many memories of wanting the very best for his daughter...including Paul. Paul is notably his favorite son-in-law...which he is totally allowed to say. No worries there!
The beautiful ceremony and reception took place at the Bourndale Function Facility in Plymouth MA. This was a stunning spot with wonderful cabins on the property, both for preparations as well as for overnight guests. The owner Darin and his team worked tirelessly throughout the entire evening to make sure that this event was as special as it could be. He greeted me warmly and made sure that I was taken care of and able to access the cabin where the ladies would get ready. He also gave me the lay of the land so that I knew where all parts of the wedding would take place. Multiple guests complimented his responsiveness to any need throughout the night.
Allie and Paul danced their first dance to an Ed Sheeran selection while Allie and dad went with a Stevie Wonder Classic and Paul and mom danced to "A Mother's Song". The dance floor was lively all night with their adorable ring bearer making multiple appearances before calling it a night to snuggle in with mama.
Allie and Paul enjoyed a fantastic day surrounded by loving family and friends. I am thrilled to have been able to capture these memories for them. I cannot wait to continue edits and send their full gallery off!
Wishing you a lifetime of joy and happiness.
